Here’s how the Titusville Chamber can help you promote
your business….
Each of the following committees or events gives members
the opportunity to become as active as they would like
by participating on a committee; or by being a sponsor
or participant in the event. Most meetings are held at
the Chamber office, unless otherwise noted in Chamber
newsletter and Friday Facts emails.
Ambassador Committee’s mission is to serve as a direct
representative of the Chamber, fostering growth and
goodwill by engaging the business community. As an
Ambassador, many opportunities exist for business
exposure, such as; working the front door at Chamber
events, hosting New Member Breakfasts, attending Ribbon
Cuttings, and welcoming new members.
Meetings: Second Tuesday of each month – 8 a.m.
Better Business Council (BBC) is a consumer resource
organization that is a committee of the Titusville Area
Chamber of Commerce. The BBC strives to build public
confidence in local businesses by promoting honest and
ethical business practices. To become a member of the
BBC, a business must first be a member of the Titusville
Chamber. The cost is an additional $110 per year to be a
part of this Council. BBC members receive additional
perks such as special designation in the Images of
Titusville magazine and on the Chamber website. The BBC
takes complaints against North Brevard Businesses.
Meetings: Second Thursday of each month – 8:30 a.m.
Education Committee’s mission is to serve as a catalyst
for the development and delivery of community based
education and related activities. The committee is
comprised of educators, businesses, community
organizations and concerned citizens. At the monthly
Chamber luncheons, the Education Committee recognizes
Outstanding Young Adults from area High Schools, along
with recognizing Partners in the Business of Education
during the year. They host a Job and Career Fair in the
spring. The committee is also working on a Business
Speakers Bureau for the North Brevard School District.
Meetings: Second Tuesday of each month – 10:30 a.m.
Governmental Affairs Committee’s mission is to identify,
monitor and evaluate legislation and specific issues
affecting business in the community. The committee
develops position recommendations for the Board of
Director’s action and takes a pro-active role in the
local, state and federal governmental process. The
committee presents to the Board of Directors
recommendations for each year’s Legislative Priorities.
During election years they provide Candidate Forums to
help educate Chamber members and the community.
Meetings: Third Thursday of each month – 8 a.m.
Small Business Committee was designed to promote,
educate, and assist small businesses by implementing
business related programs and activities. The committee
hosts three FREE networking groups.

Small Business Breakfast Leads Group (Chamber conference

Fourth Tuesday of each month – 8 a.m.
Titusville Area Visitors Council’s (TAVC) mission is to
promote and further visitor, convention and tourism
activities. The cost is an additional $100 per year to
be a part of this Council. The Council applies for
grants to help promote the Titusville/Florida Space
Coast area.
Meetings: Third Thursday of each month – 3 p.m.
Downtown Community Meeting Q&A
The Chamber, together with the City of Titusville and
downtown merchants and business owners, conduct an
informational meeting on topics related to small
business needs and concerns. These meeting are held the
last Wednesday night of each month at the First United
Methodist Church located at 206 South Hopkins Avenue
beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The public is welcome to attend.
SPECIAL EVENTS
The Chamber works hard to promote its members and the
community as a whole. Through volunteers and
sponsorships, the Chamber is able to offer special
events throughout the year, enabling our members to
participate and help strengthen and grow their business.
Monthly Luncheons – Occur on the Second Wednesday of
each month. The Chamber membership & community are
invited to an informative luncheon program, with guest
speakers from throughout the county, and time to network
and meet other business professionals.
Indian River Festival is a four-day event held in
Titusville each April, which is open to the greater
Brevard County and surrounding areas. Chamber members
may sponsor specific portions of the event. Individual
booths are available at the fair.
Taste of Titusville is a Food Extravaganza and Tabletop
Expo held at Brevard Community College in Titusville.
The event is open to the general public and features
samples of delicious food from area restaurants. It is
held the end of August.
Networking on the Green
is an annual Chamber Golf
tournament designed to encourage members to unwind on
the golf course, network and enjoy the day. It is held
the end of September.
TitusNites Street Parties & Cruise-Ins – are alternating
downtown events held the first Saturday evening of each
month. They bring food vendors, exhibitors and music to
the Historic downtown area for the community to enjoy,
along with classic cars during the Cruise-Ins.
Other annual events chamber members may become
involved in:
Operation Thank You, Installation Banquet, and Academy
Awards.
