SUNDAY May 13th & 20th – 1:00 PM- -“SEMINOLE REST WALK”
Join a Ranger as you walk the trail at historic Seminole Rest and learn about the colorful history of this area. You will learn the history, both archaic and modern as it pertains to the significance of this site. This is an easy walk ending with a visit to the historic house. Meet at parking area. (45 minutes)
Directions: Seminole Rest is located in the town of Oak Hill, Florida. Follow US 1 North to the city of Oak Hill and turn right on Halifax Road, go about one mile and Seminole Rest parking lot will be on your right hand side. US 1 South to the City of Oak Hill and turn left on Halifax road, go about one mile and Seminole Rest parking lot will be on the right hand side of the road.
