The Mission of the Governmental Affairs Committee is to identify, monitor, and evaluate legislation and specific issues affecting business and the community, develop position recommendations for the Board of Directors action and take proactive role in the local, state, and federal governmental process.The committee presents to the Board of Directors recommendations for each year's Legislative Priorities. During election years, they provide Candidate Forums to help educate our membership. The committee meets the third Thursday of each month at 8 am in the Chamber's Board Room.
